In this presentation, one will learn how it is crucial for Altair solvers to leverage high performance computing (HPC) to speedup complex engineering simulations. First, current trends in HPC and challenges in the development of computer aided engineering (CAE) software will be addressed. Then, the performance of AcuSolve, FEKO, Flux, OptiStruct, and RADIOSS will be reviewed, illustrated by several industrial benchmarks demonstrating the high level of scalability and parallel efficiency of Altair solvers. To conclude, some outlook for future enhancements will be discussed.
