Identify critical parts for mass and safety performance

Rear Impact Case:

  • Occupant loads the seatback frame. Displacement must be limited in order to retain the occupant.
  • This is measured as the displacement difference in x-direction between the floor and the mid-point of the seat upper back.
  • Initial value of response defined for this measurement is 187mm.
